Into Another World Unlocked!

Hey everyone!

We made it to our next stretch goal, adding our 16th scenario to the book! More on this scenario below. But first, our new stretch goal is....

LOCKED $55k New Scenario: Ang Karmilan Ng Aswang (Night of the Aswang)

New Scenario: Into Another World

Isekai, the genre where adventurers from a mundane realm must explore and escape from an unfamiliar other world where the rules of reality are completely different has been around, and will always be around.

They were a big part of Titus's childhood (and my own): The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe, Spirited Away, Alice in Wonderland, and Digimon Adventure just to name a few. Now he has his own version in the One of Us Will Die Core Book and we're just so excited to see what people do with it!

We're a little over halfway through the campaign and about halfway through the stretch goal ideas we (currently) have, so let's see if we can keep up the pace and keep expanding the book with more bonus content. Thanks as always for your awesome support thus far, and don't stop sharing the project with your friends and on social media - the word of mouth really helps!

Also, we've had a Vampire spot open up so if you've been eyeing one of those with a stake and crossbow, now's your chance to get a private game with Titus for you and your friends!

One Last Job UNLOCKED!
5 months ago – Mon, Apr 27, 2026 at 09:13:30 AM

Hey everyone!

We did it! We unlocked our stretch goal for adding One Last Job to the book. As usual I've got some words from Titus to share about this goal in a little bit, but first: our next stretch goal is for another fan favorite scenario, Into Another World:

$50,000 New Scenario: Into Another World

One Last Job

From Titus: "One Last Job is the first ever scenario I'd ever written for One of Us Will Die and I think that makes it really special. I remember the very first playtest of the game with just my siblings and a cousin in my family dining room (where we always played TTRPGs). It is the only time nobody died in a OOUWD game, and the ensuing disappointment I felt led me to alter the rules into what they are today. Someone must always die, or the game becomes disappointing. You just can't have this title on a game and have all the characters make it out alive.

This scenario is very much inspired by the TTRPG, Fiasco. Of course, as with every scenario in this game, there is a tragic twist. One member of the crew will not make it to retirement - a twist that set the tone for every scenario written after it."

Favorite Archetype?

Now that all the archetypes have been unlocked and their summaries have been posted to the campaign page for a bit, I'd love to hear what archetype you're most looking forward to playing or that most suits your usual playstyle in TTRPGs. OR, if you've already had a chance to play the game, what your favorite archetype to play has been!

Let us know in the comments on the campaign page :)

Thanks again for your amazing support so far, and please keep sharing the campaign with your friends! There are still plenty of stretch goals remaining, and we'd really love to see them all happen.

Dead Harvest Unlocked!?
5 months ago – Wed, Apr 22, 2026 at 04:32:20 PM

Wow!

I really did not anticipate us breaking this stretch goal so quickly. I'm so excited about what this might mean for the rest of the campaign - we've got plenty of stretch goals planned, and at this rate we may make it through them all!

Up next, we're all familiar with this beloved heist story archetype, but as always in this game, well...you already know what's going to happen to someone don't you.

Dead Harvest

From Titus: "My girlfriend, Nicola, actually came up with the entirety of Dead Harvest, brought about by her love for relaxing farming simulators. I just wrote it all down. It's the coziest One of Us Will Die Scenario in existence... which only makes what happens at the end hit even harder."

I look forward to seeing if we unlock this before the week's end. As always, your word of mouth helps the project get noticed so keep doing what you're doing and share the excitement!
